Eric Kautzky Memorial
Scholarship
The Eric Kautzky Memorial Scholarship was established to celebrate Eric’s
long standing dedication to Athletic Training Education with his student of
Tigard High School and beyond. His
efforts in educating high school students interested in athletic training will
continue to live on through this scholarship opportunity. His legacy is also visible to those who
attend and visit Tigard High School through a courtyard and plaque in his honor
that reads:
Eric Lee Kautzky July 24,
1948-June 18, 2005 “Eric was a
science teacher and athletic trainer at Tigard High
School for 26 years. He touched the lives of many and
will be remembered as an inspirational
educator, mentor, healer, and colleague.” “Don’t judge each
day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds
you plant.” Robert Louis
Stevenson
The Eric Kautzky Memorial Scholarship is a one-time scholarship of $200
