Jarred obtained his undergraduate degree from Whitworth College in 1997. After a year in the clinical setting, he moved to Oregon and had a variety of experiences including athletic training at the high school level before returning to school. While attending the University of Oregon for an advanced degree he was the Athletic Trainer at Cottage Grove High School for two years. With a degree in hand Jarred took a job at Cascade College in Portland from 2002-2004. Wanting to move closer to home, Jarred applied and was hired on at Lane Community College as Athletic Trainer and Instructor from 2004- March 2006. Currently, he is the first Athletic Trainer in the history of Northwest Christian University in Eugene. Jarred’s involvement with OATS has been staying active with OSAA championship coverage as well as assisting with the 2004 NWATA Symposium held in Seaside.
