OATS High School Summit

The OATS High School Summit has been postponed due to weather conditions. The event will be held at the Slocum Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine (55 Coburg Road, Eugene Oregon 97401). Athletic Trainers can earn up to 6 Category A CEU's.
The event is centered on the needs of the AT working in the High School setting, but all ATs are welcome to attend. This year's HS Summit will focus on several important and current topics related to concussion management and development of policies and procedures. There will also be a hands-on lab portion on spine boarding at the end of the day.
Before December 15th the cost for the day is $25. After December 15th, the cost is $35. Student members can attend for $5 if registered before December 15th and $10 after the 15th.Lunch is included in the cost. To register and view the agenda for the event click here. Summer Symposium

OATS will host it's annual Summer Symposium. The Symposium provides opportunities for athletic trainers in Oregon to learn new skills and also meet colleagues from around the state.

Members who attend the annual event will received continuing education credits. We will attempt to have EBP CEU's again as well. The schedule will be released in the Spring of 2017.

NATA National Convention
Date: June 26-29, 2017       Location: Houston, TX

Athletic Trainers from all of the country will travel to Houston for an exciting week full of educational and networking opportunities. Click here for more information about this event.

The mission of the Oregon Athletic Trainers’ Society is to enhance the quality of health care provided by certified athletic trainers and to advance the profession of Athletic Training in the state of Oregon. The mission shall be accomplished through strong working relationships, education, and fellowship among athletic trainers and who they influence.
